Be the One to Score the Most Points this Super Bowl Weekend…

This dip will definitely be a hit tomorrow.  It’s so good.  I tried it a party and ended up eating the whole thing.  No.  Seriously.  I sat in front of it and ate the whole thing.

Base

1 x 250g cream cheese, softened

1 garlic clove, minced

3 tbsp sour cream

Combine all three ingredients in a bowl until well blended.  Spread evenly at the bottom of a 9”x13” glass pan or a platter.

Suggestion:  The base can be prepared a day in advance, wrapped with plastic film and refrigerated.

Topping:

Top cheese mixture in this order;

200 ml salsa

1 tomato, diced and drained

sliced olives (optional)

3 green onions, chopped

250g cheddar cheese, shredded

Serve with tortilla chips.

  1. Your recipe looks easy and seems yummy. This is a just in time recipe. Dips and the super bowl go hand in hand.
    Your recipe with half the calories is much needed by many of us. Don’t keep this recipe a secret. Will gladly make it for the family.
